The only way to reach us, and the fastest:
There is no contact form, on purpose. A form here would mean collecting your message on a server, and this site is deliberately built without one — the tools run in your browser precisely so there is nothing to collect. (The URL shortener is the single exception, and it is disclosed on its own page and in the privacy policy.) Mail goes to a real inbox that one person reads, usually within a day or two, and always within a week.
What to include
You do not need to follow a format, but these are the details that let us actually fix something rather than write back asking for them.
- A number that looks wrong — the page, the exact values you entered, and the answer you expected. "The mortgage calculator is wrong" cannot be reproduced; "$400,000 at 6.5% over 30 years gives me X and I expected Y" can be, in about a minute. If you have a source for the expected figure, send that too — it is often the fastest way to settle which of us is right.
- Something broken — what you clicked, what happened, and which browser and device. The file tools (background remover, PDF merge, image conversion) do real work in the browser and can hit memory limits on older phones with very large files; if that is what happened, the file size matters more than anything else.
- A tool that does not exist yet — what you are trying to work out and what you do today instead. Requests that describe a real task get built; requests for a category rarely do, because "a finance calculator" does not say what it should compute.
- A correction to the writing — the page and the sentence. Factual corrections are welcome even when they are small; a stale tax bracket is a small edit and a large problem.
What happens to your message
Reports that turn out to be real get fixed and the page is re-dated — the "Last reviewed" line at the foot of every page moves when the content actually changes, so a correction and its date are the same event rather than two separate claims. Your email address is used to reply and nothing else. It is not added to a list, and there is no list to add it to.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give personal medical, legal, tax or financial advice, and it is worth being direct about why rather than just citing policy. The tools here compute — they take numbers you supply and apply a published formula. Whether the answer means you should take the loan, change your diet, or file differently depends on your full circumstances, which an email cannot convey and which we are not qualified to assess. For those questions, a professional who can see the whole picture is the right call.
What we can help with is the arithmetic itself: whether a formula on this site is the right one, what a calculator is assuming, and where a figure came from.
